Quiet time
Most of the time, Brynley is very interactive (and active!). However, every once in awhile she gets quiet. It usually means she is playing in the dog's water dish or trying to eat paper, but not this time:

Shenanigans
As May comes to a close, it is hard for me to believe that Brynley is now 15 months old. This past month, it seems like she has learned something new each and every day. It amazes me that she will see me do something a handful of times and then, days later, I see her repeating it. Watching her personality evolve is so completely delightful!
Some things to remember:

Some things to remember:
- She is not walking yet, but getting really, really close! She will now stand without holding on to anything...and without falling down. :)
- She has learned two signs (sign language): more & milk. She only saw me do them a few times and she picked up on them quickly and uses them appropriately.
- She. Eats. Everything.
- Splashing in the tub is a new favorite activity. Oh, that and drinking the tub water. Eww!
- Watch out if you have a cup; she wants to drink out of it.
- Addicted to that darn tee-tee more than ever, but I haven't had the heart to take it away yet since she is getting two molars on the left side
- When she gets mad, Brynley scrunches up her face and goes crazy on anything close to her. She will throw toys and drop her forehead to the ground in pure dramatic fashion. Isn't it too early for temper tantrums?
- She held out her arms to a complete stranger in church yesterday. The young girl held her and B refused to come back to me for at least 5 minutes. We saw the same girl in Target today and after talking for a moment, Bryn started to throw a fit when we walked away from her. She has never before attached herself to someone we didn't know.
- Drawer locks. Everywhere.
- She continues to dance. She has been dancing since before she could crawl!
- B still loves to swing, play with the dogs, squeal at the cats, read books, listen to music, and crawl away really fast when we are holding a clean diaper....or if we say the word diaper
- Makes the funniest face when anyone farts. Sorry, it's true.
- For the past few days, she has been cruising around the kitchen and living room with her shopping cart!
- She climbs off the couch by herself.
- She brushes her hair
- On May 19th, Brynley started walking while holding on to mine or Rob's fingers. She loves to do it now. When she is done taking a lap around the kitchen, she plops down and claps for herself!
- The words she can say: Baby, bye-bye, night-night, more, dada, mama, mum-mum.
- She hates to get her hands & face cleaned after eating. I'm talking blood-curdling screams!
- She pretends to talk on the phone. If the phone is sitting around, she will pick it up and put it to her ear and babble. She has called numbers on the caller ID several times. My apologies if the number was ever yours!
- 20 cheerios in the mouth at one time is completely reasonable to Brynley
- B is very silly and will do anything for a laugh. She has come out of the laundry room with my underwear on her head. Today she came up behind me, patted my back, and when I turned around, she had a mum-mum wrapper sticking out of her mouth (being silly!)
- She has almost ordered pay-per-view at least a dozen times. Rob & I had no idea we had picture-in-picture until Brynley showed us how to work the remote.
- At her 15-month checkup, she weighed 18lbs 10oz and was 28-1/2 inches tall. When she was born, she was 7lbs 1oz and 18-1/2 inches tall. She continues to be 5% and 3% for height and weight and 75% for head circumference. Wow!

Daddy's girl
Brynley & her Daddy have so much fun together. Last week, as I was cooking dinner, Bryn kept crawling around the kitchen and tripping me up. Rob took her outside to the swings so that I could finish cooking. After a few minutes swinging, I looked out the window and saw this sweet Daddy-daughter scene!

My Silly Brynley
The general consensus in our family is that Brynley is developing into quite the little comedian! Her antics are always making us laugh. Here are just a few of her "moments" caught on film:
Two seconds after being told "Don't put that in your mouth!":
