These boots were made for walking

Kids have a fascination with putting on other people's shoes. I know I used to do it and now Brynley is following in my footsteps...

Or in this case, her Daddy's...

Independence Day!

I love the 4th of July. Next to Christmas, it is my absolute favorite holiday! However, as the mommy of two tiny tots, it is tough to celebrate. My kids are in bed long before the fireworks start! And although I'm looking forward to doing certain fun things with them as they get older, I don't want the moments to pass too quickly. So I stay focused on the fun we can have now...at this age. Bounce houses, playgrounds, baby pool, singing/dancing, reading books together, playing catch, play dates...these are how my summer days are filled! (and, honestly, anything I do with these two makes my day!)

Zero

You know I have to do monthly onesie pictures of Roman...beginning with "zero". These photos were taken within the first week that he was home from the hospital.

Since I'm posting these over a month later, he seems so much bigger already!

Roman's newborn photos

Roman had a newborn photography session on June 13th when he was just 8 days old. After seeing these wonderful photos, I completely regret not doing this for Brynley! Thank you to Melody at www.captureamomentphotography.com for your patience and for sharing your wonderful talent with us!

Here are a few photos from our day:

Father's Day

Here are a few pictures from Father's Day. Rob was working on the rental property that day, but came home in the afternoon to spend time with the kids. Brynley still wasn't feeling so well at the time and naptime did not go well. When we let her come downstairs, she fell asleep laying on her Daddy within 10 minutes. I think it was the highlight of his day!

Tons of pics

In a continuing effort to "catch up" on this blog...and since I'm a month behind, here are a ton of photos from June all mish-mashed together in one long nearly-wordless post!
